Town of Lake Bulletin Board


2021 Road Construction Project 

The road crew along with American Asphalt have completed black topping N. River Rd, Bass Lake Rd, Lakeshore Dr, Pine Creek and the Transfer Station. All shouldering of the above mentioned roads should being within the next couple of weeks.

The Transfer Station will reopen with a new layout on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

Recycling

Please note the recycling updates on the Recycling tab. You can click on the flyers for more information on the right way to recycle.  The Town of Lake has had additional charges due to recycling placed in plastic bags. Please empty the recycling into the bin - do not place a bag of recycling into the bin. Thank you!

Bulletin Board

Please note that the bulletin board used for posting meeting notices that was at Timber Breeze is now located at The Outhouse on the corner of County E and County B. There remains a bulletin board at the Town Hall and at J's Automotive for meeting notices as well as the website.  All meeting minutes are posted at the Town Hall and on the website.

The treasurer will be in the office at the town hall from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021


About Town of Lake, Price County

The Town of Lake is nestled in the northwest corner of Price County, adjacent to the City of Park Falls, in northcentral Wisconsin. The population was 1,128 at the 2016 census. The Town of Lake covers over 17,000 acres.

Butternut Lake and the Flambeau River offer excellent water activities including fishing, boating, skiing, canoeing and kayaking. Ice fishing is a great winter sport and produces entertainment as well as great eating.
